Did the doctor prescribe concerte for a 4 year old child? Theoretically, the spl says that the safety of use from the age of 6 has been established, so we should rather stick to this limit. She works in an Icelandic pharmacy and doctors also prescribe for smaller children there.

Concerta is indicated for use in children 6 years of age and older as part of a comprehensive treatment programme for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in cases where other treatments are not effective enough.
