It is not recommended to drink alcohol during treatment with Zentel. This is because the active substance in Zentel, albendazole, is converted into its active form during metabolism in the liver, similar to the metabolism of ethyl alcohol. Therefore, in order not to interfere with the proper operation of the drug, taking alcoholic beverages during therapy with the above drug is not advisable.
