After the second dose of ozempic 0.25, shouldn't the amount in the pen be reduced, because in my case it did not even twitch. Is this normal or wrong to apply the drug?

In response to the great interest of patients, a non-reimbursed drug Ozempic from parallel imports appeared in pharmacies. The availability of the drug in pharmacies can be checked here: Ozempic 0.5 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275329 Ozempic 1 mg https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/99258/ozempic-iniekcja/apteki?pvid=275351

In the case of the drug Ozempic 0.25 mg, it is very difficult to notice whether the amount of solution in the pen has decreased, because the solution is more than the planned doses - the pen contains an excess of the drug. Here we explain this issue: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/20766/ozempic-dlaczego-po-4-dawkach-leku-ozempic-0-25-mg-w-penie-tloczek-jest-w-polow If you checked the patency of the needle according to the instructions before administering the drug and later set the dose knob to 0.25 and administered the drug subcutaneously, then it is very likely that the drug was administered correctly, and the lack of visible loss of solution is due to the said excess, resulting from production.
