Hello. I used axia conti tablets, but I had to change them to vines. On the day I got my period, I took the last placebo axia conti tablet. And the next day, that is, on the second day of the cycle, I took only the first tablet of vines. Therefore, is contraception preserved? Did I do the right thing?

The correct start of the Vines active tablets when changing the contraceptive pills from Axia Conti to Vines should take place at the latest on the day following the end of the placebo tablets of Axia Conti: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/81748/vines-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka/195614 This means that your management has been normal and that contraception has been maintained. When using contraceptive pills, the method of counting the next days of the cycle is different from counting the days of the natural cycle. In the natural cycle, day 1 is the day of the bleeding. When using birth control pills, bleeding is the end of a given cycle. This means that if withdrawal bleeding occurred faster than the day of the last tablet, there would be no contraindications to continue using placebo tablets and the effectiveness of contraception would not be affected. We wrote about how to use contraception correctly in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
If I also took the first vines tablet on the 3rd day of the cycle and on the 1st and 2nd day I used placebo axia conti tablets, would contraception also be preserved?
