Will I feel side effects again after changing the drug and will it really work this time?

Do I take escitalopram actavis for a month and a half and nothing helps the doctor said to change to Venlectine. Will I feel the side effects of the new drug again after changing the drug? And will it work this time?

Venlectine contains venlafaxine, which is an active ingredient different from the one used so far (escitalopram). So there may - but do not have to - after changing the drug, side effects occur. In the absence of effectiveness of the current therapy, changing the drug may be helpful, but it is difficult to guarantee that the new preparation "100%" will help. It's definitely worth a try.
