Is SIBO a contraindication to the use of contraceptive pills?

Is sibo disease a contraindication when using contraception in the form of tablets? I can't find the information anywhere.

To @Ania:

Yes, you can. If you have SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth syndrome), you can get a contraceptive implant. It acts locally to release hormones that prevent ovulation, and it does not depend on bowel function, so its effectiveness will not be reduced by SIBO. An implant is a very effective method of contraception, so you can be sure that you will be protected against pregnancy.

And if I have sibo, can I put on a contraceptive implant? Will it effectively protect me from pregnancy ?

The disease itself is not a contraindication to the use of hormonal contraception. However, if the disease is accompanied by frequent diarrhea, the effectiveness of contraception may be weakened. Then such a method of contraception is not recommended. More here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/opinie-i-pytania/13076/vines-czy-tabletki-antykoncepcyjne-moga-poglebic-przebieg-zespolu-jelita-drazli
