Which drug will be better with insulin resistance - Metformax or Saxenda?

I am after the removal of the thyroid gland. I take 175 eutirox. I have problems with overweight, which after despite the efforts goes up. Over time, high triglycerites appeared, later cholesterol. After recent tests, it has shown that I have insulin resistance of 4.9 and TSH of 3.87. I was recommended menformax or saxenda. Which solution is better not to deregulate the hormonal balance? Which drug support should I start with? Can it be taken at the same time? Something I have to do this situation and please help. Thanks in advance.
