Is it possible that the tablet after taking a week before menstruation will not work?
Please help me 😊 lived with my husband a week before menstruation, unseeded. We loved to the end, came in me, I took a tablet ellaone after 8h from intercourse, today should be planned menstruation and did not get it, or maybe I'm late? For several days I hurt my lower abdomen. The pregnancy test I performed was negative. Is it possible that the tablet did not work and I can be pregnant?

So the PO pill doesn't work if it's already after ovulation? I don't really understand it, because on the leaflet it says that it works regardless of the cycle. I would like to ask for clarification :))

Tak, jest możliwość, że będzie Pani w ciąży, gdyż tabletka po przyjęta po owulacji (a Pani po niej była) nie działa.
Substancją czynną "tabletki po" jest octan uliprystalu, którego działanie polega na zahamowaniu lub opóźnieniu owulacji, co zapobiega zajściu w ciążę. Jeśli pigułka zostanie przyjęta po owulacji nie ma możliwości zadziałania.
Po przyjęciu ellaOne miesiączka może wystąpić kilka dni później.
Należy mieć świadomość, że nie każdy niezabezpieczony stosunek wiąże się z ciążą. Test proszę wykonać 14 dni po stosunku, wtedy jego wiarygodność będzie pełna: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/test-ciazowy-jaki-wybrac-i-kiedy-zrobic
Wcześniej ciążę mogą wykryć tylko testy ciążowe ultraczułe.
