What are the reviews for Slinda?

Hey everyone! These will be my first tablets and of course I have a lot of doubts, especially because of Slinda there are practically no opinions. How did you react to the tablets? Does continuous sting affect many of you? I don't hide that it's a little disturbing to me. I would be very grateful for any information/feedback! With!

Slinda is a one-component hormonal preparation containing drospirenone. Slinda inhibits ovulation, causes changes in cervical mucus, and also affects the endometrium. During the use of the drug, irregular spotting and bleeding may occur. It may also happen that bleeding will not occur at all. Any medicine used can cause side effects. However, this does not mean that every patient will experience them. The most commonly reported side effects are, m.in, headache, abdominal pain, nausea, mood swings, acne, breast discomfort, weight gain: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/101505/slinda-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka If you see side effects of Slinda, I encourage you to report them. Hello, my name is Amélie, to date it has been 38 days now that I have been taking the SLINDA pill, I think that this pill is a little too dosed for me, it inhibits my ovulation, I have very very stomach pain, unbearable pain, I have nausea, a huge drop in my libido, and it has now been 3 years that I have been with my boyfriend I am 18 years old, And our intimate life is more complicated, when sexual intercourse occurs, the entrance to my vagina burns and hurts extremely, penetration is then impossible, it had never occurred before this contraception, is this normal? I still have irregular bleeding outside of my period cycle which also prevents intimate moments with my boyfriend which are very rare, my mood is sad and angry, which is not like me at all, I have acne and a lot of chest pain as well as high tension. Can you help me please? My gynecologist is not present before the beginning of July, I don't know what to do, should I stop her? If so, how?? Thank you very much.

Hello, I've been taking Slinds for 23 days now, this is the first time I've taken a pill. I was at the FA due to a 6-week continuous bleeding. It was found that my mucous membrane is thickened. Therapy was done, then it went on for 2 months. At the beginning of April I was for a check-up, everything was ok and because I said that I was overdue again, the doctor said until the end of April, otherwise the therapy would wait again. My period came 4 weeks late and I started the Slinda pill that was prescribed to me at the check-up so that I no longer have to worry about bleeding. For 23 days, regularly at the same time I have been taking the pill, for 23 days bleeding sometimes more, sometimes less, otherwise no side effects, I feel mentally better and my skin has improved, the only thing is this continuous bleeding. My FA is of course on vacation at the moment. I can't do the bleeding anymore. Is that normal? Should I stop?

Hello everyone,
Suffering from endometriosis, I was prescribed the Slinda pill continuously three months ago to stop my periods and relieve my pain. Regarding my pelvic pain, the results are quite spectacular. Unfortunately, at the same time, I observed almost simultaneously major respiratory problems (especially at bedtime: difficulty breathing, need to yawn several times to get air into my lungs, feeling unwell...). After consulting a cardiologist, it seems that this is due to strong anxiety attacks. I am convinced that the pill has increased my anxiety, but I find myself faced with a dilemma: stop it, at the risk of my endometriosis pain returning, or continue it and endure these respiratory crises? What to do? I'm lost and open to any similar feedback or experience, thank you

Hello, I take Slinda frankly she is perfect. No problem. It may play on fatigue or my morale but hey that's a lot of pills.
It suits me perfectly, really, I'm very happy with it because I had a complicated period with my old pill. With my husband we don't wear a condom because I can't stand any surprises!

Iza bella  (Anonymous, 5.173.249.) 54 days ago

Hey, I've been taking slinda for 2 weeks and unfortunately I got my period suddenly, so unexpectedly I'm very disappointed because something like this shouldn't happen. I had taken Dionelle before and I felt great. Besides, my hair gets very greasy and falls out with slinda. Personally, I do not recommend it and I am coming back to Dionella.

Maga (Anonymous, 2a02:8440:d117:e672::) 59 days ago

Hello, I started Slinda 4 months ago, no more spotting, regulated vaginal secretions, my flawless skin, great.
In terms of libido, it's a disaster!

And after 4 months, menstruation in the middle of it! Desperate! Yet don't forget! I hope it will normalize!

I don't know which pill to adopt...

There you go!

Chiara (Anonymous, 151.95.199.) 3 months ago

I've been taking slinda for 3 years. I'm a wonder. No more cycles. No more pain. Improved skin and hair. Weight in the usual oscillations. Libido unchanged (always high).
But you have to be patient. The first 4/5 months I had spotting randomly, then it stabilized. I didn't have any other problems. Ps: I recommend (given the disappearance of the period) a pregnancy test every 3 months to avoid surprises.

Kitty (Anonymous, 2401:d002:d803:cc00::) 3 months ago

I started Slinda for heavy and painful periods in December 24. Shortly after starting it, I started getting what felt like a stitch in my lower right rib. This slowly got worse over time. It was so bad that I couldn't do anything (cook, clean etc) without pain getting up to 8/10. I noticed a trend with this in an online support group for Slinda.
I also had zero energy and hair loss. So I stopped about two weeks ago after the 3 months were finished. My pain has slowly gone away and energy coming back, but now I'm dealing with rebound fluid retention in my stomach!! This pill is an absolute nightmare,I wish I never took it

Fedimic (Anonymous, 151.34.75.) 3 months ago

I have been taking slinda for almost a year now, prescribed by the gynecologist because I smoke. I must say that compared to other contraceptives including pills and vaginal ring, it is the only one that does not give me any kind of problem! Neither mood swings, depression, nor pain nothing!
The only thing that has been going on for 5 months now that I have not had any kind of cycle I don't know if it is normal.

Olga (Anonymous, 151.18.103.) 3 months ago

I've been taking Slinda for almost 2 years, I don't have a period in the 4 days, it's a common effect, I feel good, my skin is clean. I used it during breastfeeding, the doctor recommended me to stay at Slinda, if I feel good and not to change with a ring or estrogen pill. I'm 33 years old.

Mado (Anonymous, 87.67.47.) 3 months ago

Hello
I've been taking Slinda for two months and my skin has changed: I have acne that happens more and more, both in the back, on the face, on my scalp which has become very oily and itchy because of the pimples. In addition, I no longer have libido. I'm going to stop it and take the Diane 35 where I had a magnificent skin. I don't want to relive the hell of my adolescence with this acne. Obviously, each person reacts differently. Take care of yourself.

Mell (Anonymous, 2a02:2454:992e:9e00::) 3 months ago

I've been taking the pill for 6 months now and I'm going to stop taking it now. In the beginning everything was okay but now I notice almost all the side effects of it. Chest pain, intermenstrual bleeding, migraines, very reduced libido, fatigue, my neurodermatitis has gotten worse and my skin is worse than ever. In addition, there is weight gain and my psyche is feeling absoulut bad.

Shah (Anonymous, 2003:f5:ff1c:713f::) 3 months ago

Background: Unfortunately, gynecologists have messed up my entire hormonal balance since I was 12 by constantly prescribing me other pills. I have not tolerated all the combination pills of all generations. I then stopped taking this on my own responsibility in the fall of 2018. About 1 year later my symptoms began and in July 22 I was diagnosed by an endocrinologist that I have polycystic ovary syndrome. The solution, on the other hand, as a woman who does not want children at the moment: Slinda. It was a completely new pill on the German market at the time and I trusted the Endo and started taking the Slinda from July 2022.
Positive: My PCOS symptoms such as oily and blemished skin on my face, severe body acne on my back and décolleté & severe hair loss were gone immediately after taking it. I had about the first 6 months of continuous spotting and otherwise no problems. I think it's very good that I don't have a real period anymore, because it was always very irregular and far too frequent for me. Negative: From July 2023, I noticed that my libido is virtually non-existent. Since I'm single, it didn't bother me. From about October 2023, I noticed that my hair loss is getting stronger again, my scalp is constantly oily and my facial skin behaves very strangely (flaky, oily at the same time). I also noticed heavy sweating and hot flashes again and again. Then I did all the blood tests at the family doctor and gynecologist and everything was fine. However, problems still remain. In the summer of 2024, I gained about 10kg within 3 months, although I had no changes in eating habits in life. Very, very strange. Then I went back to my Endo to have my blood drawn and lo and behold: the Slinda has completely dragged my estrogen level into the basement. So the pill not only reduces the testosterone level, but also the estrogen level. To counteract this, I was prescribed the gynokadingel with the active ingredient estradiol. I've been using this since September 2024. With clear instructions from the Endo that as long as I take the Slinda, I must also use Gynokadin. So I have a combination treatment again, so to speak. In addition, I have been using Minoxidil against hair loss on the advice of my Endo since September 2024. Status as of 05.3.25: All the symptoms I have had since July 2023 are still present and none of them have improved. In addition, I have been suffering from intermenstrual bleeding (sometimes with cramps) for 3 months, although I continue to take the Slinda as I should. I recently had my estrogen level checked by my gynecologist with a blood test and thanks to the gynokadingel, it is probably back in the absolute normal range for my age. Then have a complete blood count done again by the family doctor with a focus on the thyroid gland, again the values are all perfect. Neither the family doctor nor the gynecologist know where my complaints could come from. Then I went looking for it and read through the package insert of the Slinda and lo and behold: all the symptoms I have are listed as side effects. It is an indictment of the Endo & gynecologist that they did not think that it could come from Slinda. I only have one blister of Slinda left and will take it in March, but then stop taking the pill. In April there is an appointment with a new Endo and I will tell you everything. Hopefully I will be helped better. And if not, I will try natural remedies for PCOS such as cyclositol etc. Slinda was really my salvation for a short time, but in the long run I can't tolerate this pill (like all the others before).

Hey!

I have been using this medication for 2 months.
Recently, I have noticed excessive hair loss, frequent sweating, hot flashes, spotting every second or third day. When it comes to my well-being, it is also weaker, I have no energy and strength for anything.

Lia  (Anonymous, 78.245.168.) 3 months ago

Pill that I couldn't stand at all ...
I took optimizette but zero libido and acne. So I changed to slinda, at first the dream, zero pimples, libido ok, no swollen belly and spotting. After 3 months I started to have discomfort and drops in blood pressure - I thought it was overwork. Then followed very strong nausea in the evening, palpitations, I was short of breath and very tired. I went to see the cardiologist, the gastroenter, the general practitioner .. I haven't thought about the pill. After two months of medical examinations, the verdict came down and it was the pill in question. Way too strong for me. Since I stopped it I have no more symptoms.

Tester  (Anonymous, 2003:dc:6715:9900::) 3 months ago

I have now taken the preparation for six weeks and stopped taking it.
I had the following side effects (without actually looking at the package insert in advance to fully engage with it) -Fatigue - Abdominal pain - Chest pull -Spotting - Psyche (extremely whiny, easily irritable, depressed) - Water retention - increased appetite - decreased libido - Vaginal dryness (despite estrogen ointment 2x a week)

I do not recommend this preparation.

I've been taking Slinda for 2 and a half weeks.
For 3-4 days I have had "Period" bleeding with pain ++ in the lower abdomen. My gynaecologist prescribed me this pill because I am a migraine sufferer with ophthalmic ora. I don't know if it's normal, my husband wants me to stop it because I'm sluggish ++ what to do? Thank you

I am 39 years old. I have had ovarian cysts for 4 years, which have also had to be operated on. Due to the cysts, I was prescribed the Slinda 3 months ago. However, I can't tolerate the pill at all. I have spotting, no libido, aching breasts and trouble sleeping. However, I used to not tolerate the normal pill with estrogen either (water retention, high blood pressure, constant fungal diseases, etc.) and therefore stopped taking it.

Hello, for some time now I have started my adventure with Slinda, it is my first contraception of this type. I noticed a very significant deterioration of the skin condition, problems with constipation and vaginal discharge resembling yellow-white cottage cheese. I don't know what to think about it, is it normal, temporary?

Kasia (Anonymous, 188.33.234.) 4 months ago

Be careful with these pills as if they were so harmless, and the mood goes down to tearfulness and apathy. After stopping after 3 weeks, I feel light and myself at last. They had a lot of impact on my psyche and in a very negative way

Kasia (Anonymous, 188.33.234.) 4 months ago

My reaction was, small side effects only spotting, actually maybe a little weaker hair, a decrease in appetite and weight from 3 kg in 5 months. Stomach problems. On the other hand, I feel bad, seriously depressed and tired. Lack of desire for anything, poor libido. I stopped and revived, in my opinion they have a lot of influence on my mood, unfortunately I took it negatively for 5 months.

To @Rena:

The symptoms you describe – dandruff, purulent blisters and lesions at the roots of the hair – may indicate an uncommon skin reaction associated with taking Slinda. They can also be an independent symptom with a different cause, such as a bacterial or fungal infection of the scalp.

I encourage you to consult a dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis. In the meantime, it is worth avoiding irritating hair cosmetics and taking care of your scalp gently.

Rena (Anonymous, 94.254.148.) 5 months ago

Anna  (Anonymous, 2a01:110f:c2d:a200::) 5 months ago

I was supposed to use Slinde for heavy periods. At first I felt quite good, I had a bit of a headache and nausea, but it was bearable. The crisis came in the middle of the package, I got my period, I felt worse and worse, swollen, and worst of all, I got shortness of breath, I couldn't drink and I was constantly running to pee, after consulting a gynaecologist I decided to stop taking Slinde. The improvement was visible day by day, the shortness of breath disappeared and I felt fine. Also, not everyone uses these pills, despite assurances that they are well tolerated by other patients.

To @sarah:

Slinda starts working depending on when you started using it:

1. If you take the first pill on the first day of your menstrual cycle (the first day of bleeding) – contraceptive protection is immediate.

2. If you started using it on a different day of the cycle – full protection appears only after 7 days of regular taking of the tablets.

If you have started using Slinda after unprotected sex, its effectiveness as an emergency contraceptive is not guaranteed. In this case, it is worth consulting a doctor to discuss further steps.

If you need more personalized advice, you can use teleconsultations here:

https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-ginekologiem

The advice is provided in Polish.

To @Veve09:

Spotting during hormonal contraception, such as Silinda, can be due to the body's adaptation to hormones or fluctuating levels during the cycle. If spotting is regular, moderate and not accompanied by other worrying symptoms, it is usually not a cause for concern. If they persist for several cycles, it is worth consulting a doctor to assess whether a change in the preparation or dose would be advisable.

Veve09 (Anonymous, 93.38.136.) 6 months ago

Good evening I have been taking silinda for about 4 months and everything is fine it has improved me a lot the pains of the period before I had them very strong, but it is from the 2nd month that after a week of the start of the new blister I get the spotting little - medium abundant can you tell me why.

Nele (Anonymous, 139.30.230.) 8 months ago

I have been taking the Slinda since May 2023 and have no major side effects. My libido, which is very high anyway, has not changed as a result. The only side effect I have from time to time is intermenstrual bleeding or a bit of spotting. But hey, I would have my "days" without the pill. Otherwise everything is great!

Rica (Anonymous, 5.91.246.) 8 months ago

I started hiring Slinda in June 2023. For the first two months I had a slight period, then completely disappeared. What I have found is a sharp drop in libido, vaginal dryness, a lot of difficulty in feeling pleasure and a reduced sensitivity to penetration. This really weighs on me a lot because it does not allow me to live my sexuality serenely. I will evaluate with my gynecologist for something else.

Anna Lewandowska Pharmacist, Editor

To @Giulia:

Irregular bleeding and skin lesions such as acne may occur in the initial period of Slinda use, especially after childbirth. The body needs time to adapt to hormonal changes. Nausea is also a common side effect. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it is worth consulting your doctor to assess whether the medication is appropriate for your situation.

Giulia (Anonymous, 93.146.153.) 8 months ago

I gave birth in May, 40 days visit I started SLINDA. First two blisters abundant and irregular cycle.
The gynecologist advised me not to take the green pills so as not to have my period, but still remain covered at the contraceptive level. I noticed an increase in acne and nause at times. Should I be worried?

Jessi (Anonymous, 80.187.121.) 8 months ago

I have been taking Slinda for 4 months now because I suffered from extremely painful and heavy periods. Fortunately, this is over now, but since then I have been suffering from massive hair loss and constantly have a high pulse between 110-130! I had a medical examination by an internist and cardiologist - I am perfectly healthy. Since the symptoms only appeared when taking Slinda, I see a clear causal relationship there! I will not continue to take the pill!

Céline  (Anonymous, 178.194.71.) 8 months ago

Hello I am on my second pack, the first I had small bleeding for three days
Light and no pain, the second platelets halfway through I have had my period for 1 week no stop and my breasts are swollen and very tired, is this normal, will it be like this all the time?

Karolina (Anonymous, 195.136.136.) 8 months ago

Hello. I'm looking for advice, I've been taking slinda for two months, I'm at the end of the second pack. At the beginning there were breast and lower abdominal pains, everything passed but I started to have tinnitus, not allowing me to sleep at night, could this be a side effect of slinda? The laryngologist has already been there, nothing is worrying on his part. Now a neurologist and head MRI, but I'm wondering if it could be a side effect of slinda, sometimes I also have a headache.

To @LingLow:

The use of Slinda, as a progestogen-only preparation, may affect libido. Low libido is a common problem with hormonal contraception, and different drugs can cause different reactions, as you noted in the case of Valette. Stopping the pill can help restore your natural libido, but it can also cause mood swings. If you decide to stop taking Slinda, it's a good idea to monitor how you feel for a few weeks and discuss with your doctor alternative contraceptive options that may have less of an impact on your libido.

LingLow (Anonymous, 94.249.218.) 9 months ago

I've been taking Slinda for 5 months, didn't take anything for 2.5 years before that and before that about 15 years a common pill like Valette (estrogen). After I stopped using Valette, I had a libido again, I felt lighter and in a better mood.
With the Slinda it is excellent - zero spotting (with the previous one I always had that) or other side effects. Except for the topic of libido. It no longer exists. My doctor says that the pill is generally an issue that women suffer from. And since this puts a strain on me and my partnership, I'm thinking about skipping the pill again. Whether it intensifies depressive moods or not, I can probably only say when I'm three or four weeks without the pill. At least I feel more stable with Slinda than with the Valette, I really felt my hormone levels drop and my mood got worse and worse.

Marion (Anonymous, 37.65.146.) 9 months ago

Good evening, I've been taking slinda (drospirenone) for 6 months, for me it's a bit of a relief because I had very tiring periods, every month, I had two weeks to recover, big fatigue, migraine, dark circles, bad mood, pain, and now I feel much better and I don't have any more discharge, I had a lot before it dries out, on the other hand, loss of libido, that's for sure! The rest is fine.. month of July August I took my pill a little at the rache because I was on vacation and for two weeks I have brown discharge at the end of my period and moderate period pain I don't know if it's normal while I have had no bleeding since the beginning !? I hope it will destabilize

Rebeccaxy (Anonymous, 93.131.245.) 9 months ago

Hello dear girls, I took the Slinda pill for about 3 months. In other words, 3 blisters.

I had enormous side effects.:

- Dizziness, nausea, vomiting
- Water retention - Increase of liver values to the extreme - 13 kg weight gain - Skin blemishes, up to eczema on the face (where absolutely no cream or anything else helped) - Anxiety, mood swings -Fever -Fatigue -Gastritis - Abdominal pain, stomach pain

I don't take the Slina pill for over 1 week now. My eczema on my face is still slightly visible but has already improved. Dizziness and nausea are still present because my body has suffered a hormone shock. This takes a little time, I was told by the doctor. My liver values have improved, but are still high. Since the discontinuation of the Slinda pill was not long ago. Now I also have sleep disorders and tingling in my arms and legs in the evening.

My body and I suffered extremely from it.

Lily (Anonymous, 90.83.237.) 9 months ago

Hello
Here is my experience with the SLINDA pill... Mother of two children and after several attempts pill or IUD, copper or hormone, my gynaecologist suggested SLINDA to me. I've been taking it for 1 year, at first I had spotting then after 2 months no period at all. unfortunately despite the advantage of no longer having a period it causes me a lot of inconveniences... repeated vaginal yeast infections, excessive fatigue, weight gain, and big loss of libido. My husband made the decision to have a vasectomy to avoid having to pay for a contraceptive.

Isalynn (Anonymous, 217.81.201.) 10 months ago

I've been taking Slinda for more than a year and I'm totally swaying. For more than 5 years with a year break, I have been using the hormonal contraception with the pill. The first 3 years it was Angiletta with Öströgen share. Then I was no longer allowed to take estrogen-containing preparations due to "migraine". At that time I had migraines, but without aura and now I went to a neurologist to make sure that I have other options besides Slinda, which works without estrogen. At first I thought no problem, this pill is really something for me. Yes, I thought. I gained 8kg within this time, got diarrhea, my hair becomes greasy within a very short time and my face was suddenly covered with pimples, which is tantamount to acne. But thanks to the migraine at the age of 16, my gynecologist did not allow me to negotiate with him and Slinda remained and still is my pill. But what I really miss as a woman is my cycle and maybe not many share this opinion, but I miss having my period. I feel torn and wavering inside. I don't have a rhythm anymore and that's driving me crazy. Slinda started spotting for the first few months, which "you can put up with" said my second opinion with another gynecologist, thank you for that. I haven't had my period for a long time now and I don't feel whole, if you can understand.
I have now reached the point where I want to get away from the pill completely, because in the long run it cannot be a solution for me and especially not for my body. I am now starting a new attempt by visiting the neurologist and really hope so much that my gynecologist will finally deviate from the opinion that only the Slinda or another estrogen-free pill is the only true solution for me. I've been telling my body for the last few months that it can't be that bad and that there is simply nothing else, but that's not true. I have black and white that I am not a risk patient due to the "migraine" and hope so much that it will finally be enough. The next target would be the hormone/vaginal ring. Please think carefully and listen to your body to see if you can tolerate this pill. There are possibilities and if you are satisfied with Slinda, then everything is fine (: Every body reacts differently. I wish you all the best <3 Liebe Grüße
