Helicid 20 (omeprazole) may cause side effects such as headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, balance disorders, as well as other gastrointestinal symptoms (e.g., diarrhea, constipation, flatulence). These symptoms occur in a small percentage of patients and usually disappear when treatment is stopped or modified.
As for the duration of use, Helicid 20 is usually used for several weeks, as prescribed by the doctor, as long-term use requires evaluation by a specialist due to the risk of side effects and the need to monitor the effects of therapy. If symptoms such as severe dizziness or impaired vision and balance persist, you should consult a doctor.
