A very large amount of shaving gel flew into my eye, and I was supposed to use mybracin 3x1 drops. But is it normal that when I close my healthy eye, I have a slightly blurred vision for those patients from a distance? And also the feeling of a foreign body in the eye?

If shaving gel gets into the eye, it can cause irritation and mechanical damage to the surface of the eye, which can cause a foreign body sensation and temporary blurred vision, especially when looking with only one affected eye.
The use of Mybracin drops, which contain an antibiotic (tobramycin) and a steroid (dexamethasone), helps to treat inflammation and infection, but the drug can also cause local irritation and discomfort. The feeling of blurred vision and foreign body may persist during treatment, but if the symptoms worsen, severe pain, redness, visual disturbances or discharge appear, you should see an ophthalmologist immediately.
Do not rub your eye so as not to aggravate the irritation. The correct application of the drops consists in instilling the drops into the conjunctival sac, gently closing the eyelid and pressing the corner of the eye near the nose, which helps to reduce the systemic effect of the drug.
