Can I use Scopolan suppositories and Procto-Glyvenol ointment for hemorrhoids at the same time in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy, or do I need to keep a distance?

Hello, I'm in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy. The doctor prescribed me Scopolan Suppositories rectally for 3 days and mentioned that I could use Procto-Glyvenol ointment for anal varicose veins. I wanted to ask if I can combine these drugs, or should I keep a time interval when administering them?

Yes, both preparations can be used at the same time, because they act locally and do not interact significantly with each other.

Scopolan suppositories have a spasmodic effect, while Procto-Glyvenol has a local anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anesthetic effect, also in the form of an ointment. There are no contraindications to combining these drugs. There is no need to keep a time interval, but it is worth using them according to your doctor's recommendations and be careful when observing your body's reaction. If you experience unusual symptoms, you should consult your doctor.
