I have prescribed medication for hypertension: in the morning Tritace 5mg 1/2 tablets, in the evening Amlozek 5mg 1 tablet. In case of anxiety or fear, I should take Hydroxyzinum syrup 10ml in the evening. Yesterday I had a pulse of 55 before bed after taking the above medications. Pressure is normal 110/77. Which drug can cause such a low pulse? Can I sleep peacefully at night with such a pulse?

Of the drugs mentioned, the most likely hypothesis is associated with Tritace (ramipril), although it usually does not cause a pronounced bradycardia — more typically it lowers blood pressure. Amlozek (amlodipine) usually does not lower the pulse, and Hydroxyzinum may additionally calm down, which may promote a decrease in the heart rate.
If you feel well (no dizziness, fainting or severe weakness), a pulse of 55 and a blood pressure of 110/77 are safe and do not require intervention. However, if you experience worrying symptoms, please consult your doctor.
