Is it normal to feel like the medicine has stopped working after increasing the dose of Escitil?

Hello. At first I took escitil 10mg for 2 months. Now I've been taking 20mg for a month and it stopped working... I have some occasional mood jumps for the positive. Is it normal or change the medication?

Yes, such symptoms can happen because the reaction to antidepressants is individual and sometimes after the initial improvement, the effect may weaken. Occasional mood swings may indicate a partial response to treatment, but if improvement is not permanent or symptoms return, it may be worth consulting your doctor.

Do not change the medication or dose yourself – the decision on whether to change the therapy should be made by a doctor after assessing your condition.
