Can mistakenly administering Macmiror ointment to the anus be harmful to health?
Hello, I got an ointment to lubricate for vaginal itching, I didn't read that you can't apply it to the anus, which unfortunately I did, can it somehow affect my health, e.g. damage the liver, thank you for the answer

A single application of Macmiror ointment to the anus is unlikely to cause major health problems except for ailments related to a possible hypersensitivity reaction at the injection site (e.g. itching, burning). In the event of a significant exacerbation of symptoms, you should see a doctor. Before using the preparations, it is worth reading the leaflet to avoid incorrect administration of medications.
