Hello, can the gelatinous mucus that occurred after intercourse mean ovulation? I'm taking yasmin, I haven't missed any pills, and I'm not taking any other medications. Before I started taking birth control pills, such gelatinous mucus accompanied by fertile mucus was present around the fertile days.

Gelatinous mucus is not fertile mucus, as I mentioned - thick mucus is typical when using hormones and for inexperienced people can be confused with fertile mucus.
However, when it comes to fertile mucus, it is as you wrote - "transparent, chewy and resembling chicken protein"

Contraceptive pills work not only by inhibiting ovulation, but also by changing the consistency of cervical mucus, which hinders the movement of sperm. This mucus may resemble fertile mucus in consistency. However, if you use the pills regularly and do not take medications that could weaken their effect, the effectiveness of the pills is maintained and the risk of pregnancy is only about 1%.
Everything indicates that the protection is maintained. In my opinion, there is no reason to worry. You should continue taking the tablets.
