Depratal (duloxetine) should be discontinued gradually, reducing the dose over at least 1 to 2 weeks to minimise the risk of withdrawal symptoms such as dizziness, restlessness or sleep disturbances. Since you are taking 30 mg, your doctor may recommend that you reduce your dose to 15 mg, for example, or use 30 mg every other day before you stop treatment completely.
During the reduction of the dose, it is important to monitor your well-being and contact your doctor, who may recommend returning to the previous dose and stopping at a slower rate in case of severe symptoms. Do not stop treatment abruptly to avoid recurrence of anxiety symptoms and other unpleasant effects.
