Good evening, I have been taking Zafrilla for a month to treat a 4 cm endometrioma and for about three weeks I have had a continuous flow, combined with mood swings and asthenia. I talked about it with my gynecologist, who says that it is normal to have spottong. But in this heat I feel exhausted and I am afraid that, if the flow does not end, I can go towards a soul. Is anyone in the same situation?

The use of Zafrilla is often associated with changes in the bleeding profile, such as spotting, irregular bleeding or even continuous blood flow. This phenomenon is quite common and can persist for several weeks, especially at the beginning of therapy. Mood swings and weakness can also be related to the hormonal action of the drug and the disease itself.
However, if the bleeding is very heavy, lasts for a long time, and you feel significantly weak and exhausted, you are at risk of developing anaemia, which requires urgent medical consultation. High temperature and heat can further intensify the feeling of fatigue.
Please continue to take Zafrilla regularly at the same time to maintain the effectiveness of your therapy. Contact your gynecologist to evaluate your bleeding and general condition, especially if your symptoms worsen or do not go away. Remember that although spotting can be a side effect of medication, it should not be underestimated, especially if it affects your well-being and health.
