How to take Hygroton correctly?

Hygroton should be taken by mouth, preferably in the morning, with or just after a meal. The dose of the drug is determined individually by the doctor, most often starting with the lowest effective dose, usually 25 mg per day in hypertension. The tablet can be halved if necessary to obtain the correct dose.

Do not exceed the dose prescribed by your doctor and do not change the dosage yourself. During treatment, alcohol consumption should be avoided and the level of electrolytes in the blood, especially potassium and sodium, should be regularly monitored.
