Both Risperidone and Tegretol (carbamazepine) can affect the menstrual cycle and cause its disorders.
Risperidone often increases prolactin levels, which can lead to irregular periods, difficulty getting pregnant, or other hormonal disorders in women.
Tegretol, on the other hand, can cause irregular menstruation, especially in women who use hormonal contraceptives at the same time, as it reduces their effectiveness.
