The described symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhoea, increased sweating, weakness and malaise may be side effects of both increasing the dose of duloxetine and using the antibiotic Xifaxan.
Duloxetine 90 mg may cause, m.in others, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, sweating and weakness, especially in the first weeks of use or when the dose is increased. Xifaxan, on the other hand, although poorly absorbed, can also cause abdominal pain, diarrhea and weakness. Frequent urination is less typical of both medications and may require additional evaluation.
If symptoms are severe or persistent, contact your doctor, who may consider treatment adjustments or additional diagnosis. Do not stop therapy on your own without consulting your doctor.
