Giving a child the synbiotic Diprolac, which is dedicated to adults, usually should not cause serious effects, especially if it was a dose.

However, probiotic preparations intended for adults may contain bacterial strains or doses that are suboptimal for children, which in some cases can lead to mild symptoms such as bloating, gas, abdominal pain or diarrhea. If you experience alarming symptoms or persistent symptoms after administering the tablet, you should consult your pediatrician. In the future, it is worth using probiotics designed specifically for children to avoid the risk of adverse reactions.
