Good day
I've been taking Zafrilla since today, otherwise had the Maxim. Since today I am totally restless and afraid to continue taking the Zafrilla. I have also been suffering from depression for several years and am simply afraid that the depression will intensify as a result.
Would it be advisable to switch back to the maxim, or are such signs normal at the beginning?

The side effects of Zafrilla include depression, anxiety and sudden changes in mood, which are uncommon (in ≥1/1,000 to <1/100 patients). Not every patient will experience such ailments, each body reacts differently to treatment. Due to the fact that you suffer from depression, there is a risk of its intensification, but it is difficult to assess it unequivocally. It depends, m.in on the individual reaction to anxiety and the severity of depression. During treatment with Zafrilla, you should watch how you feel, if your depressive symptoms worsen, your doctor may advise you to stop taking the drug. Maxim can also cause depressed mood (uncommon) or depression (rarely). If you have any doubts or concerns about the recommended therapy, I encourage you to consult your doctor again. If necessary, he or she will recommend a different treatment that will be better tolerated by you .
