Proaxon (citicoline) is a prescription-only drug, so its inclusion in therapy and dosage should be decided by a doctor.
Proaxon should usually be used at a dose of 1 to 2 sachets a day, depending on the severity of your symptoms. The sachet can be taken directly or after dissolving in about 120 ml (half a cup) of water, regardless of the meal, i.e. during or between meals.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can, but do not take a double dose. Do not stop treatment without talking to your doctor. If you take more than the recommended dose, contact your doctor immediately.
