Heminevrin (clomethazole) and Disulfiram should not be used at the same time, as they both affect the central nervous system and their combination can increase side effects such as drowsiness or impaired consciousness.

It is recommended to discontinue Heminevrin before disulfiram implantation – it is best to keep an interval of a few days, usually 5–7 days, but the exact time should be determined by the attending physician depending on the patient's condition. It is also worth making sure that the body is completely cleansed of alcohol before starting disulfiram therapy.
