Tirosint Sol should not cause side effects, as thyroid hormone supplementation is designed to restore the physiological functions of the endocrine system. An improperly selected, too high dose of the drug can cause symptoms of hyperthyroidism such as: palpitations, increased blood pressure, menstrual disorders. Hashimoto's disease itself can also affect the regularity of the cycle (including its prolongation and abnormal bleeding). In the event of the above ailments, an endocrinologist should be consulted.
