How long does Nebilet stay in the body and lower the pulse after it is stopped?

Good morning. I took nebilet 5 after losing weight, hypertension and other ailments disappeared and my pulse dropped to 48, I immediately stopped taking nebilet. How long after stopping taking the drug is in the body and lowers the pulse?

Nebilet (nebivolol), which works to lower blood pressure and slow down heart rate. Its half-life averages around 10 hours, but in people with a slow metabolism it can be up to 3-5 times longer, which means that the drug can remain in the body and affect the pulse for several days after discontinuation.

Due to the risk of worsening symptoms, abrupt discontinuation of Nebileta is not recommended, and the dose should be gradually reduced, which allows the body to adapt and reduces the risk of bradycardia or other complications. If your pulse remains low (e.g. 48 beats per minute) after discontinuation, it is worth consulting your doctor, who may recommend further management and possible monitoring of cardiac parameters.
