Uroplus contains plant ingredients used in urinary tract infections (e.g. in the case of cystitis) with diuretic and disinfectant properties. The product is indicated for use in the case of recurrent infections and the presence of renal deposits. There are other products available on the market that can be taken as an adjunct in the problem of urinary incontinence (it is worth seeking medical advice beforehand), e.g. Feminost, Jasnum Uro. Like any oral preparation, Uroplus can cause stomach discomfort, so it should be taken with food.
