I have been diagnosed with Helicobacter pylori, but after treatment with Pylera the bacterium is still present – what to do next?

I was diagnosed with Helicobacter, prescribed treatment with Pilera, at the end of treatment I did repeated tests and the bacterium did not go anywhere from the body.

If Helicobacter pylori is still present after you have finished treatment with Pylera, it is important to consult your doctor again. It is possible that the bacterium is resistant to the antibiotics used, so a different treatment regimen or additional tests such as antibiotic susceptibility tests may be necessary. Do not change medications or stop therapy on your own. It is also important to follow diet and hygiene recommendations to reduce the risk of the infection returning.
