Although, according to the manufacturer's recommendations, Artigo is intended for adult patients, with the consent of the caregiver/parent, this drug is often included in the treatment of dizziness, due to its beneficial therapeutic effect.

The doctor has the right to use the drug on the basis of his or her best knowledge and experience, and not on the basis of the manufacturer's indications. It is also a common practice. If your doctor decides to use Artigo in a younger child, there is a risk of side effects, which may be more severe in children than in adults.

In children, other antihistamines, such as dimenhydrinate or promethazine, are safer and more often used, which can be an alternative, but their administration also requires medical consultation. Dizziness in children can have a variety of causes, from ear infections to migraines to other conditions, so it's important to accurately diagnose the problem.
