Hello, I have a question about combining the contraceptive sidretella20 with one dose of tranxene5g. Does Tranxene reduce the effect of contraception or does it have no effect?

Tranxene (clorazepat) does not reduce the effectiveness of hormonal contraception such as Sidretella pills. This drug does not affect liver enzymes, which are responsible for the metabolism of hormones contained in contraceptive pills, and thus does not reduce their effectiveness.

It is safe to use Tranxene together with hormonal contraception.
