Rixacam and Xarelto are different brand names for the same anticoagulant (rivaroxaban). If the preparations have been prescribed by different doctors, the treatment strategy should be established again and each subsequent specialist should be informed about all the medicinal products used. Taking both drugs at the same time may cause side effects, e.g. petechiae and haemorrhages.
