I mistakenly took placebo pills instead of active ones for 2 days - what should I do?
Good evening, I am taking drospil and mistakenly I took the placebo pills for two days (today the third) instead of the active ones, tonight I realized this and, after taking another placebo tablet, I decided to take the active one that I was supposed to take today. I have been leaking since this morning. Last night I had unprotected sex. How should I behave?

Skipping two active pills may interfere with the effectiveness of hormonal contraception. Depending on which week the mistake occurred, the procedure may vary. If you have resumed the active tablets, continue taking the medicine and start the next pack without a placebo break. For 7 days after missing the tablets, additional protection should be used. Unprotected intercourse may require the use of emergency contraception - I encourage you to consult a gynaecologist on this matter.
