Miovelia PCOS contains the standard recommended daily dose for most women of childbearing potential. There is no need for additional supplementation.

Miovelia PCOS contains folic acid in the form of FolActiv, which is a combination of folic acid and its active form calcium L-methylfolate, which is especially beneficial for people with a slower folic acid metabolism. In the recommended dose (2-4 capsules a day), the preparation provides from 200 to 400 μg of folic acid, which corresponds to 100-200% of the reference intake value (NRV).

This dose is considered to be suitable to supplement the daily diet and supports cell division processes and homocysteine metabolism, especially important in women with PCOS. If there are no additional medical indications, e.g. pregnancy planning or a known deficiency, no additional folic acid supplementation is necessary beyond that contained in Miovelia PCOS.
