Should I stop using Gynoflor if I experience severe burning and redness after increasing the dose?

After a fungal treatment I got Gynoflor from my gyn. get. I have taken it 2x a week so far and am now supposed to take it daily for 1 week. Otherwise I always had only a slight burning, now severe redness and burning. Should I stop taking it?

Gynoflor may cause a slight burning sensation or burning sensation in about 1% of patients, which usually does not require discontinuation of treatment.

However, severe redness and burning may indicate an intolerance reaction or allergy to the ingredients of the drug. In such a situation, I recommend that you stop using Gynoflor and contact your doctor immediately to assess your symptoms and possibly change the therapy. Do not continue treatment on your own with severe symptoms, as this may worsen the condition.
