A single administration of Dexamen (dexamethasone) 8 mg during breastfeeding is considered to be a low risk to the baby and side effects are unlikely. In the case of a single dose, there is no need to routinely postpone the vaccination, but it is worth informing the paediatrician about the situation before vaccination so that he can assess the child's condition individually.
