Can I start a new blister of Daylette tablets after 3 days off and unprotected intercourse if I didn't start them on the first day of my period?
12.99 zł

Can I start taking the tablets from the new daylette blister if I haven't taken them on the first day of my period? (I used this contraception for almost a year) if I am late 3 days and on the day of the second delay I had unprotected intercourse. Should I take the pill after today and birth control pills? How should I start it?

Taking the pills in this way will not provide you with contraceptive protection in a given cycle, and increases the risk of side effects.

A better choice will be to proceed as described below, i.e. take the morning after pill now, and start the next pack of Daylette only on the first day of natural menstruation (in the next cycle).

Today is the 3rd day late. Is it possible to take two contraceptive pills for 3 days according to the daylette contraceptive pill leaflet? Taking such a dose of hormones in one day, is it safe?

When using birth control pills, there is no typical menstruation, but withdrawal bleeding, caused by a break in taking hormones (taking placebo pills - green in the case of Daylette). No breaks are taken between packets of the drug and no tablets are taken depending on the occurrence of bleeding.

According to the documentation of the drug:
"Take the tablets every day, at about the same time of day, in the order indicated on the blister, with a small amount of liquid if necessary. Do not take breaks from taking the tablets. For 28 consecutive days, take one tablet a day. Each subsequent pack should be started the day after the last tablet of the previous pack is taken. Withdrawal bleeding usually starts on day 2-3 after the start of the green placebo tablets (last row) and may not end before the start of the next pack."

How long did you not take pills? If you have taken a break between packs and had unprotected intercourse, it is best to take the morning after pill now, and start the next pack of Daylette only on the first day of your natural menstrual period (i.e. in the next cycle).
