Tobradex is not recommended for keratitis caused by herpes virus, keratitis caused by cowpox virus, varicella/shingles and other viral diseases of the cornea or conjunctiva, unless otherwise advised by your doctor.

Virgan, on the other hand, is a preparation used to treat certain superficial and viral infections of the eye (cornea).

The legitimacy of using both preparations at the same time should be assessed by the attending physician. The doctor will decide whether the preparations can be used together and possibly determine how to use them. I encourage you to consult your doctor again.
