Bupropion is not recommended in patients with a history of epilepsy or an increased risk of seizures because it may lower the seizure threshold, which increases the risk of seizures. For this reason, before starting treatment with bupropion, you should consult your doctor who will assess the risks and decide on possible alternative treatment.
