I have been taking Asertin 100 for two weeks now. A week ago I had such a change in my esophagus. Could it be Asertin's fault? What can I assume to make this change disappear? I don't feel pain, but it makes me uncomfortable.

Asertin (sertraline) can cause unwanted effects such as dry mouth, nausea or vomiting, but rarely causes esophageal discomfort, but dry mouth or reflux can contribute to irritation. If you have developed lesions in your esophagus that cause discomfort, I encourage you to consult your doctor to rule out other causes.
In the meantime, to reduce discomfort, it is worth moisturizing the mucosa, e.g. by using lozenges with hyaluronic acid or stomach shields (e.g. with alginates). If your symptoms worsen or you experience pain, contact your doctor immediately.
I encourage you to report the symptoms you experience to your doctor, as well as to report the occurrence of an adverse effect of the preparation. Reporting side effects allows you to increase control over medicines available on the market. We wrote more about how and why to report side effects in the article:
