I had to take two birth control pills (Axia Conti) yesterday - one in the morning and the other at the same time from the same blister. The placebo day will move one day (usually the last placebo day was Sunday, now it will be Saturday). Will the protection be maintained?

A friend has already answered a similar question in the thread:
And when the pill gets lost and I take another pill from the blister? One tablet will be missing in the package, so will there be protection then? Because you should take all the active pills from one blister and then a placebo.

With the course of action you have described, the contraceptive protection of the drug will remain maintained (if you continue to take the drug correctly - every day, more or less at the same time).
Taking two tablets in one day results in the cycle being shifted by one day, which can lead to withdrawal bleeding one day earlier. Remember to start taking active pills from the next pack one day earlier.
If you do not want to change the day you start your withdrawal bleeding and the day you start a new pack, you can take the missing active tablet from the spare blister.
