Good morning
Can minimal penetration of any face cosmetic into the lips interfere with the effect of the vibin mini hormonal contraception?
I was on a treatment to rebuild the hydrolipid barrier today and I had the impression that a little bit of the product got on my lips right into my mouth. I'm very worried

The ingredients of the most commonly used preparations in beauty salons as part of treatments rebuilding the hydrolipid barrier include, m.in, urea, amino acids, sodium lactate, propylene glycol, glycerol, collagen, hyaluronic acid, PCA, sorbitol, paraffin, eucerin, waxes, petroleum jelly, fatty acids, ceramides, cholesterol.
None of the above-mentioned ingredients, especially in the trace amount in which it could get through, affects the effectiveness of the hormonal contraception used.
We wrote about which drugs weaken the effectiveness of hormonal contraception in the article:

But are you sure?

Even if a small amount of the cosmetic got into the mouth, there is no risk that the contraceptive effectiveness of Vibin mini pills has been reduced.
The cosmetic could get on the mucous membranes (e.g. into the mouth), but the possible concentration of active ingredients in the blood will be so low (in practice zero) that there is no possibility that they will affect the drug taken orally.
Here you can check the availability of Vibin mini tablets in pharmacies and make a reservation:
