After 8 months of using Izotek 20 mg twice a day, serious liver problems and back pain appeared — what to do?

After 8 months of taking izotek 20mg in the morning and evening, I began to have serious health problems. Big problems with the liver, back pain. ( these pills did not help anything) was treated by a private dermatologist with more than 30 years of experience! In short, I do not recommend this drug.!

Izotek (isotretinoin) can cause side effects such as liver problems or musculoskeletal pain, including back pain. In the case of long-term treatment, it is necessary to regularly check the liver parameters and consult a doctor in case of adverse effects.

If the side effects are severe, you should stop therapy immediately and consult a dermatologist or hepatologist. It is also worth considering other, safer methods of acne treatment.
