I want to switch from using Slinda to Dionelle. Do I have to take 7 days off?

Good morning. I had previously taken Dionelle pills and then moved to Slinde. Now I'd like to take Dionella again. Can I take Dionella by taking the last tablet of Slinda the next day or do I have to take a 7 day break?

According to the manufacturer of Dionelle, if you switch from a progestogen-only medicine (Slinda), you can switch to Dionelle (a combined contraceptive) on any day of your cycle. However, in this case, the manufacturer recommends using additional barrier contraception (e.g. a condom) during intercourse for the first 7 days of using Dionelle. You can start taking Dionelle as soon as you have taken the last tablet of Slinda.
