A dose of 0.25 mg of Ozempic is usually used at the beginning of therapy to minimise the risk of side effects. If you do not experience sufficient weight loss effects, your doctor may consider increasing the dose to 0.5 mg or 1 mg, depending on your individual response and tolerability.
In most cases, the dosage is increased to 0.5 mg after four weeks to optimize the weight loss effects.
However, it is worth consulting a doctor to assess whether further increasing the dose is appropriate, taking into account the patient's overall health and individual needs.
