Can I take escitalopram in the morning, and doxepina in the evening?

The concomitant use of both medicines may lead to an increase in the level of doxepin in the blood. This can increase the risk of side effects and make the effect of the drug too strong. Serotonin syndrome may also occur, manifested by e.g. tachycardia, agitation, fever, tremors, anxiety. If your doctor has prescribed the same medicine, please follow his instructions closely. In the event of alarming symptoms, they should be immediately reported to the doctor, who may recommend, for example, reducing the dose or modifying the therapy. If both drugs are prescribed by different doctors, you should consult one specialist.
