No interactions were observed with the concomitant administration of Oseltamivir and anticoagulants. Clinical studies showed no deterioration in cardiac patients treated with Oseltamivir (compared to placebo). Oseltamivir appears to be a safe drug in this group of patients. The benefit-to-risk ratio of not treating influenza at all speaks in favor of the use of antiviral treatment.
