Can I use Protopic 0.1% for rosacea flare-ups after using Rozex and Soolantra?

I have rosacea. After using rozex ointment alternately with soolantra I got an even bigger rash. The pustules are purulent, painful, itchy. It is worse than before medication. The doctor told me to stop taking the creams. My face is still irritated and painful. Can I use protopic 0.1% to relieve symptoms?

Protopic 0.1% (tacrolimus) is not normally used for the treatment of rosacea and may not be suitable for symptom relief after discontinuation of Rozex and Soolantry.

If the symptoms of rosacea worsen and purulent, painful and itchy pustules occur, you should consult a dermatologist who will assess the condition of the skin and select the appropriate treatment, taking into account the current symptoms and response to previous treatments.
