How long can I infect others with the flu? On Friday I started to have chills, on Saturday I was cold, on Sunday I had other symptoms including the temperature up to 39 degrees. Today is Tuesday, the temperature has passed, but there are a few other symptoms. Am I still infectious? Can household members feel calmer?

A sick adult can be a source of infection for others 1-2 days before the onset of symptoms of the disease and infects up to 5-7 days after the onset of symptoms.
