No, Augmentin is an antibiotic, the active substances are amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. However, according to the manufacturer's information, prolongation of prothrombin time has rarely been observed in patients receiving amoxicillin clavulanic acid. This means that a lower tendency of blood to clot was observed. In the case of concomitant use of drugs that reduce blood clotting, caution and medical supervision are necessary.
